Clay County’s Premier 36 hole disc golf course opened in February 2009 at Ronnie Van Zant Memorial Park. With well over 10,000 feet of par three holes, amateur to professional golfers will enjoy the beauty of this beautiful park. Many of the holes offer a challenge as they snake thru the trees and shady areas of the park.

This course was made possible by the Major community sponsorship made available by JADA, the Jacksonville Auto Dealer Association, and additional sponsors throughout Clay County Florida.

The course offers a beautiful front 18 holes that is currently complete. We also now offer a back 18 holes called “Rattle Snake Challenge” in which the buckets are up and tee pads are coming soon. Ronnie VanZant Memorial Park also offers a fishing pond, baseball field, multi-purpose fields, volleyball sand pit, several tennis courts, several basketball courts, 8 pavilions with outdoor grills, 2 indoor bathrooms, children’s playground area, nature walking trail and offers ample parking. Clay County also now boasts another course located at Wilkinson Junior High School just West of Middleburg on C.R. 218 – play must be done with consideration of school activities.

Ronnie Van Zant Park is located at 2760 Sandridge Road in Green Cove Springs. Park hours are from sunrise to sundown.
